1. Acceptance of Terms By using our services, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our services.
2. Products & Services We offer carefully curated bookish products, including our signature Blind Date with a Book — a beautifully wrapped surprise book chosen to match your selected theme, exactly as described in each product listing.
3. Orders & Payment We aim to fulfil all orders promptly and accurately. If any issues arise with your order, we'll be in touch as soon as possible. Prices may change over time but we'll always keep them fair and transparent. Payment is required at the time of ordering, and we accept all payment methods listed at checkout. If you experience any issues, please don't hesitate to contact us.
4. Shipping & Delivery We aim to dispatch all orders within 2–5 business days depending on order size. All parcels are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48. We ship to UK addresses only. While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, The Lit Lounge is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or factors outside our control.
5. Returns & Refunds Due to the personalised nature of our products, returns are only accepted if items arrive damaged or are incorrect. Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with photographic evidence. For Blind Date with a Book orders, returns based on personal preference cannot be accepted — the surprise is part of the magic! If your book arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours and we'll arrange a replacement or refund. Where eligible, refunds will be returned to your original payment method.
6. Intellectual Property All content on our website — including images, text, logos, and other media — belongs to The Lit Lounge and is protected by copyright law. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any of our content without prior written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability The Lit Lounge is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, including delays, loss of data, or dissatisfaction beyond what is covered by our stated policies.
8. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
